Sometimes it's times like these that it's hard to remember that no one's perfect. When looking into a magazine you see that person with perfect hair, make up, and body. Remember that they were retouched and airbrushed and that everyone has baggage. 

Lately with school it's been so hectic that you forget to sit and smell the roses, so I'm loving this song by One Republic, you should go listen to it, it's amazing! Hope your getting excited for colder weather, I know I am!

Hot Lips

      I was bored today and wanted to do something spontaneous! What better than hot pink lips! I have a blog post on the Cover Girl lipsticks and I love them! I decided to wear Temptress today! So do you love or hate bright lips?! Hope your having a grand day! ~XOXO

This Day... Wednesday

   So it's late and I haven't done any school work! ;) It just doesn't sound like fun right now! So this is how I did my hair and makeup for school! :)           Things I'm Loving...
♥ Yellow eye shadow!
♥false eyelashes from eBay, dying to buy some Dolly Wink eyelashes, but not sure if I can justify spending $20 on some eyelashes!
♥ Adele! I have liked her for awhile, but I only liked rolling in the deep and now I just love every song!
♥Cold weather! This weather is so bloody hot! I'm okay with warm weather, but not for school! I need it to be cold to focus!
♥Looking at people who have circle eye lenses in! I can't wait to receive mine! Ahhh, I adore the innocent big doll eye look!

New Hair!

Hello my little lovelies! Yesterday I got quite bored and was looking at people with bangs when I thought heck with it I want them! So I cut myself some bangs and I'm loving them right now! Along with my eBay false lashes! I think I might review them soon!  Hope your having a great Monday!

This Day... Saturday

Long time no see! I have been so busy with school and other stuff and lost my camera that I haven't posted in a while. Hopefully when I get into the swing of things with school, I will be able to post more regularly. Today my mom and I are going to go shopping and hopefully I can convince her to buy me a beach cruiser because then I could get to school and be Eco friendly! Also on the subject of new things, I have decided to ombré my hair! I did It awhile ago and was going to do a post about how to do it, but there are so many out there I'm not sure I will. I'm also loving the weather getting colder because I love layers and the Autumn colors! I Cannot wait to get some usage out of all the over sized sweaters I have been buying and love this burnt orange color on me! Sick in the Summer...

I have a nasty cold, or it might be a flu, either way I feel terrible and with school starting tomorrow, it isn't a good combo. I have been resting a ton, (and lacking on the blog posts) but my favorite get better food is soup. Have you ever tried Safeway soup, if not go get yourself some! It is some of the best soup I have ever tasted. My favorite soup from them is there Tomato Basil Soup.

To Dip Dye or not to Dip Dye?!

    So the new trend is dip dyed hair. If you don't know what this is, it's basically dying the ends of your hair a bright color(s). A lot of people have recently been spotted wearing it, and I think it is the most amazing thing ever! I have been wanting to ombre my hair then dip dye the ends with wash out colors but I'm not sure if I should because I want it to grow out and bleaching the ends would not be good for it! But alas, I'm lusting over that gorgeous beachy blond-ended hair! What to do, what to do... Hope I'm giving some inspiration for you all!      

What do you think? Would you want to run to Sally's/ The hair dresser and get this style yourself, or is it so horrible you can't believe people are wearing this hair style? Curious to know!               ~xoxo

DIY: Head Flower Headband

Hello lovelies! As you know, or maybe don't know I love hair accessories! So one day when I was bored I decided to make a flower head band. I got a plain head band and hot glued the flowers on. This is what I got...

Fat-Tastic Hair?

 

Last week I was at Freddy's waiting for my step sister's mom to finish buying some  flowers, so I thought I would go have a look at the hair care because I was in need of some mousse. I saw that Got 2 Be had a mouse that was a thickening and plumping mousse and looked nice so I bought it. I tried it the next day and at first I thought I was gonna hate it because it looked and smelled like men's shaving cream. But I put it in my hair anyway and wow gave great volume and after blow drying I didn't smell that gross smell at all! I absolutely  love this and think it gave great volume! (Please excuse the gross face!)

Oatmeal Bath Anyone?

Oatmeal is kind of like a secret wonder food. No one uses oatmeal anymore because it takes longer to make, and when you can go to the store and get sugary cereal that kids love and will eat vs. oatmeal. I love oatmeal and love using it for my skin most of all. It's all natural so I don't have to worry about putting harsh chemicals on my face.

Oatmeal baths are great because it soothes the skin. If you have sensitive skin, eczema, sunburn, or any type of rash I suggest you try this in your next bath...

♥First take a handful of old fashion oatmeal, (not instant oats because it's precooked and sweeteners are added to it) and use a food processor or blender to grind it to as close as a powder form you can get.
♥Now take a coffee filter and put the ground oats in it and tie it with an elastic.

♥Taaadaaa, now throw it in your bath and wait ten minuets before getting in so the oat meal can disperse throughout the tub. You also can just put strait oats in the water, but it makes for a messy clean up.

PS: Try washing your face in oatmeal. It helps fight acne tremendously! Watch bubzbeauty  use oatmeal for a face wash!

Full Fringe Love

♥ Is it just me or do you think girls with round heads and small foreheads can't pull off the oh so sexy full fringe look? To start off I was watching Beastly the other day, (Such a sweet  movie!) and Vanessa Hudgens had the best hair! It was a kind of messy full fringe sweet girl hair and look oh so fabulous! It's starting to make me want a full fringe, but not that much because I have done that look before and with a round head and three finger forehead it looks horrid on me! So for now I will just look at lovely pictures of people who look great with a full fringe...♥

Color Block Lips

Color blocking is getting to be a big trend, and now so are bright bold color block lips. I am a fan of this look and think anyone can pull it off. It's a fun way to brighten up any day and looks great with minimal make-up.
Cover girl and many other drugstore brands are coming out with great bright lipsticks that are affordable. So awhile ago I went to the drugstore and got some cover girl lip stick. It has a great formula and makes my lips so soft!

To get the brightest and longest lasting lips you want to prep them with a moisturizing chap stick, keep it on your lips for about ten minuets then wipe the excess off. Next, and optional is to apply a lip liner in a shade close to your lipstick of choice. Now you can apply your lipstick, either straight from the tube, or using a lip brush for more precision. Blot, then add another coat. (This will help the lipstick last longer) Viola bright beautiful lips!

The Good, The Bad, and The Maxi...

When maxi dresses first came out, I thought they were so ugly and I would never wear them. Then the trend came back again this spring/ summer and got me thinking, maybe they aren't that bad after all. Seeing as so many famous and non famous people were wearing them so many different ways is making me start to want one. They can go from super glam, to boho-chic.
So what do you think are maxi dresses all the rage, or do you wish they would just go away?

M-A-C dupe?!?!

Hello lovely ladies! I was looking through my make up and realized how similar this eye shadow and this MAC bronzer look. I swatched them and they are the same! Except one is like a dollar and the other is $23! The MAC bronzer is the iridescent/ powder loose in shade Golden Bronze. It's a glittery bronzer, but when you wear a little of it, your skin looks glowy! 

Bon Bon eyeshadow  (I couldn't find a shade number)

M-A-C bronzer (shade Golden Bronze)

R-L (Bon Bon/ M-A-C)

In my opinion the MAC bronzer has a little more yellow and bon bon has more brown undertones. So if you want to see if you like MAC's bronzer I would recommend getting this eyeshadow, and you only need a little  bit. :) Great for summertime! Have a lovely day!
